What it is

A fielded system is not a finished object. It is a set of assumptions about its environment, held in place while the environment moves. The fleet grows, inputs shift, a vendor pushes firmware, a sensor is swapped and the replacement is subtly different. None of those are failures when they happen. They are the conditions under which failure becomes possible.

We stay on as a standing engagement: watching the system and the seams it lives across, monitoring for drift before it becomes failure, and maintaining, tuning, and extending it as conditions change. Close enough to the system that a problem is caught by us rather than reported by your customer.
