You Are Buying Verdicts, Not Prototypes: Price The Decision, Not The Build
When a team buys rapid prototyping, the thing they actually need is a decision: build this or do not. The cost of a wrong keep, carrying a bad idea into a full build, exceeds the cost of the prototype by a large multiple. That makes the prototype instrumentation for a verdict rather than a deliverable in itself, and it changes how the engagement should be scoped, priced and ended.

The Walls That Stop A Prototype: Signing, SDK Mismatch And The Review Queue
On a one-week prototype the schedule risk is almost never the code. It is platform gatekeeping: code signing and notarisation, a mobile SDK version mismatch inside the client's own runtime, and a review queue that runs on a timetable nobody controls. Each of these is usually discovered on day four, and each can cost more than the build. The fix is to hit all three deliberately on day one, before writing the thing they will block.
